World War I (1914-1918)
Scott Prescott Kimball was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, on March 27, 1887. He graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and by 1915, he was living in the city of Schenectady, where he was an electrical engineer for General Electric.
On August 29, 1918, Scott enlisted in the United States Army. He was a private serving with the 1st Company, 152nd Depot Brigade. On September 28, 1918, Scott died from pneumonia while undergoing training at Camp Upton in Brookhaven, New York. He is buried in the Canajoharie Falls Cemetery in Canajoharie, New York.
