World War II (1939-1945)

Henry Theodore Duch was born in Schenectady, New York, on September 1, 1915. He grew up in the city of Schenectady and was a student at Nott Terrace High School. Before entering the military, he worked for General Electric. 

In December 1943, Henry enlisted in the United States Army. He completed his basic training at Camp Blanding in Florida. He was a private first class serving with Company C, 120th Infantry Regiment, 30th Infantry Division. On October 5, 1944, Henry was killed in battle in Holland. He is buried in St. Adalbert Cemetery in Rotterdam, New York.
