Frederick B. Noviczski, the son of James and Katherine (Chedzielski) Noviczski, was born on December 5, 1922, in Schenectady, New York. Before entering the service, he graduated from Mont Pleasant High School and worked for the General Electric.
On January 5, 1943, Frederick enlisted in the United States Army. He held the rank of Corporal. On February 5, 1945, Frederick was killed in combat during the Battle of Luzon. He is buried in the Manila American Cemetery, Philippines.
