Anthony Macejka was born in Schenectady, New York, on March 1, 1922. He grew up in the city of Schenectady and was a student at Mont Pleasant High School.
In July 1942, Anthony enlisted in the United States Army. He was a private serving with Company G, 15th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division. Anthony was killed in North Africa on August 5, 1943. He is buried in the Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Niskayuna, New York.
