Korean War (1950-1953)

George Pappas was born in Schenectady, New York, on March 15, 1931. He was a corporal serving with Company D, 1st Battalion, 32nd Infantry Regiment, 7th Infantry Division of the United States Army. George went missing on December 2, 1950, during the Battle of Chosin Reservoir. He is remembered at the Honolulu Memorial, Courts of the Missing in Hawaii.
