World War II (1939-1945)

Donald Andre Le Fevre was born in Schenectady, New York, on November 8, 1917. He grew up in the city of Schenectady on Ardsley Road and was a graduate of Albany Academy and Hamilton College.

Donald enlisted in the United States Army Air Corps shortly after graduating from college in January 1942. He was a first lieutenant serving with the 1st Air Command Group. He also served in the Army Air Corps glider squadrons. Donald was reported missing in action on May 9, 1944, during the Burma Theater. He is remembered at the Manila American Cemetery and Memorial in the Philippines.
