Earl A. Park, the son of George and Harriett (Loucks) Park, was born in Binghamton, New York, in August 1896. He lived in Albany, New York, until the age of five, when he relocated to Schenectady. Prior to joining the military, he worked for General Electric. 

Earl enlisted in the United States Army on May 1, 1918, and was transported overseas on May 18, 1918, aboard the USS President Grant. He was a Private with Machine Gun Company, 105th Infantry Regiment, 27th Infantry Division. Earl was killed in combat in France on October 20, 1918. He is buried in the Saint John's Lutheran Cemetery, Colonie, New York.
