Scipione Di Marco Palleschi, the son of Marco and Orazia (Di Cocco) Palleschi, was born on May 11, 1896, in Fontechiari, Frosinone, Lazio, Italy. On October 11, 1913, he arrived in America on the SS Barbarossa, and his final destination was Schenectady. Before joining the military, he worked for the General Electric.
On July 24, 1918, Scipione enlisted in the United States Army. He was a Private of the 32nd Field Artillery's Battery F. Scipione died on October 10, 1918, of pneumonia. He is buried in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Schenectady, New York.
