World War I (1914-1918)

Steve Dusannki was born in Russia on November 22, 1890. He came to the United States without his parents and was living in the city of Schenectady with an aunt. Before entering the military, he worked for General Electric.

Steve enlisted in the United States Army. He was a private serving with the 23rd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division. On June 16, 1918, Steve was killed during battle in France. He is buried in the Aisne-Marne American Cemetery and Memorial in France.
