World War II (1939-1945)

Dominick James Donadio was born in Schenectady, New York, on April 22, 1923. He grew up on Pleasant Street in the city of Schenectady and graduated from Mont Pleasant High School in January 1943. After graduation he started working for General Electric.

On June 5, 1944, Dominick enlisted in the United States Army. He was a private serving with the 10th Infantry Regiment, 5th Infantry Division. On February 15, 1945, Dominick was killed in combat in Luxembourg. He is buried in Sts. Cyril and Method Cemetery in Rotterdam, New York.
