World War II (1939-1945)

Dean S. Clements was born in Schenectady, New York. He grew up in the town of Niskayuna, in Schenectady County, and was a student at Craig School through the eighth grade. 

Dean enlisted in the United States Army. He was a private first class serving with the 30th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division. On July 15, 1943, during the invasion of Sicily, Dean was killed in battle. He is buried in the Sicily Rome American Cemetery and Memorial in Italy.
