Lawrence T. Enright was born in Niskayuna, New York. The birth index states that he was born on August 20, 1925, however his gravestone says August 25, 1925. He grew up in the town of Niskayuna in Schenectady County and was a student at Van Antwerp School.
Lawrence enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. He was a private first class serving with the 9th Marines, 3rd Marine Division. On July 25, 1944, he was killed in action during the Battle of Guam. Lawrence is buried in the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific in Hawaii, and is remembered at the Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Niskayuna, New York.
